Exercise: Affirmations that nurture your authentic self

  1. As a ritual create and write down at least 3 authentic self affirmations that empower you to be your authentic self.
  2. Once you have created them and written them down, repeat them to yourself every day as a way of nurturing your authentic self. Say them with feeling and to help deepen the feeling, place your hand over your heart and breathe deeply into your heart for a few minutes before you say your affirmations. This will help you create a deeper connection from your heart space to your affirmations and they will have more powerful effect on your energy. 

Affirmations are a powerful way of reminding you to honour your commitment to your authentic self in your daily life. They allow you to make authenticity a daily practice.
