Exercise: Recognising when you are out of alignment with your authentic self

As part of your daily routine take the time to recognise and write down when you feel out of alignment with your authentic self. Write down your emotional patterns, triggers, beliefs and behaviours in each individual situation that you notice you are out of alignment with your authentic self. Journal your findings over a period of a month and then at the end of the month go back over what you have journaled and find the common threads in your emotional patterns, triggers, beliefs and behaviours. You will always notice consistencies and that is exactly what you need to bring to the forefront of your conscious awareness to initiate healing and growth.
